IRDNING & AIGEN IN THE ENNS VALLEY

Small is beautiful - the two small attractive towns of Irdning and Aigen are full of surprises. Situated at the foot of imposing Grimming, they are ideal starting points for a variety of vacation activities. Aigen is especially enchanting with its Styrian charm, pretty landscape and the centrally located Putterersee, where guests can enjoy swimming in summer and ice skating in winter. For winter sports enthusiasts the Nordic Center in Irdning, with a particularly generously dimensioned cross-country trail, is an ideal meeting point. In summer the leisure center with its swimming pond leaves nothing to be desired. The Irdning Sculpture Park, with 40 wood sculptures by Austrian and international artists, is always worth a visit. The park invites visitors to a relaxed encounter with the expressive forms of contemporary art and woodworking.
